Gas
guns are the most realistic guns in Airsoft. Using
compressed gas as the power source, they actually creates
recoil when fired.
With Gas
Blow Back (GBB) pistols, the firing mechanism is almost
exactly the same as in their real counter parts.
During every trigger pull, compressed gas is released and
expanded to propel the BB out of the barrel, while the
other proportion of the gas cycles the slide back.
When the slide of the pistol recovers to the forward
position, it chambers the next round getting it ready to
be fired.
