| Q:
Where are you located? |
| A:
Calgary, Alberta, Canada. |
| |
| Q:
Do you ship to the US or other countries? |
| A:
Unfortunately 007 does not ship to any other
countries. We ship to all addresses in Canada. |
| |
| Q:
NOT FOR CIVILIAN? What? Why? |
| A:
Fully colored Airsoft guns are Replica Firearms in Canada,
and they are PROHIBITED to be sold to civilians, unless
you possess a Prohibited Goods Permit.
Here at 007 Airsoft, we deal in Non-Replica Airsoft guns
(Airsoft guns with clear bodies) for civilians. Make
no mistake though, as our clear bodied Airsoft guns are
not the regular low-quality products you might see from
other websites. Our products are of top quality,
from the makers of the best Airsoft products around the
world. |
| |
| Q:
Why do you keep replica firearms on your website
then? It's a waste of my time! |
| A:
While we abide by the law 100% here at 007 Airsoft, we do
also deal with replica firearms legally when dealing with
the Law Enforcement / Military industries , and licensed
theatrical prop companies. |
| |
| Q:
How do I get a prohibited goods permit? |
| A:
You'll need to speak to your province's Chief Firearms
Officer, for more info, click here. |
| |
| Q:
What are Airsoft guns ? |
| A:
Airsoft guns are pellet guns that shoot plastic spherical
BB pellets. They are used mainly for recreational
purpose in war-games or target shooting
competitions. A very similar sport to Airsoft is
Paintball, the different lies between the fact that
Airsoft plastic BB's do not leave mark when it hits the
target. While a lot of paintball guns are called
paintball markers, Airsoft guns are often refered to as
paintless markers. Airsoft guns are used as training weapons
across Canada at various military regiments and law
enforcement agencies. 007 is proud to be a supplier
to some of these agencies including the Calgary Police
Service's firearms training division. |
| |
| Q:
Are Airsoft guns legal in Canada? |
| A:
Yes, but replica firearms are not. To learn more visit the legality page here : www.007airsoft.com/legality.htm |
| |
| Q:
Why are
your prices sooo expensive? I found a retailer
overseas with much better prices !!! |
| A:
Our
prices are listed in Canadian dollars. When you buy
from overseas, you need to pay for shipment fee from
overseas to Canada, Canada's importation taxes, G.S.T. and
P.S.T., Canada Boarder Services Agency's (CBSA) duty charges, and your brokerage
company's brokerage charge. Most of the time you
will end up paying about the same amount as 007 Airsoft's retail
price when you buy from over seas. Further more,
your order will most likely be seized by Customs (CBSA) if
you do not present the appropriate licenses / permits to import them. |
| |
| Q:
Do you have a show room? |
| A:
007 is an online based business , we do not have a store
front. However if you will be stopping by Calgary
you are more than welcome to setup a meeting time with us,
and visit Ken's little Airsoft world. |
| |
| Q:
Do your
guns have orange / red tip and trademark removed? |
| A:
Orange
/ red tip and trademark removal is a regulation in effect
in the USA. Since 007 Airsoft import our Airsoft
guns directly from Asia (where they are made) and not from the
States, our Airsoft guns do not have orange / red tip or
trademark removed. What you will get is 100% exactly
as seen on the pictures on our product section. |
| |
| Q:
Which gun is the best? |
| A:
Airsoft guns are all replica guns and their performance do
not vary too greatly. However, there are three
things that you should keep in mind when picking an AEG.
1) Full stock can usually accommodate a better battery.
2) Longer and tighter barrel allows more accuracy.
3) Faster motor gives you a higher ROF (rate of fire). |
| |
| Q:
I am a paintballer, and I want to try Airsoft, what are
the differences between the two sports? |
| A:
The two sports are similar concepts, we use toy
guns to play war games. However Airsoft is growing
bigger in Canada now because players tend to like more
realism during their war games. Generally speaking
if we compare airsoft rifles and paintball markers of the
same price range, Airsoft guns look more realistic and
have greater effective range and accuracy over paintball
markers. Airsoft BB's do not burst so they do not
leave a mark on your outfit once you are hit.
Because of this we wear a lot of realistic gears and equipments,
without the fear of them getting damaged by paint. |
| |
| Q:
BB's don't burst when I am hit, so how can I tell if I am
hit or not? |
| A:
Most of the time when you are hit you can feel the
hit. However if you're wearing heavy equipments or
vests, you might not feel it. But in those cases, you
can almost always hear the sound of the BB hitting your
equipments. We rely on an honor system in that the
person getting hit must call himself out. |
| |
| Q:
Can I buy an airsoft gun and use paintball in it? |
| A:
Yes, there are 6mm paintballs that are designed to be used
with Airsoft guns. However these are usually poorly
made and they tend to burst inside of the Airsoft
guns. This mean nothing but big trouble for your
Airsoft guns, as they are meant to shoot plastic BB's, not
paintballs. The use of such 6mm paintballs is
strongly discouraged. |
| |
| Q:
How do you get pass customs? |
| A:
007 imports all products by following all regulations
regarding firearms and/or prohibited items. All
items sold on this website conform to Canadian regulations
and laws. |
| |
| Q:

| A:

everyday, there will not be any problems. |
| |
| Q:

will not be confiscated. In the rare case that we
cannot deliver you what you have paid for, you will be
offered a
100% refund on the item. |
| |
| Q:
I want something you don't have in stock, how long will it
take to get here? |
| A:
Then it will be special ordered, it generally will
take about 2-4 weeks to get to you, once the full payment
is received. |
| |
| Q:
Can I track my parcel? |
| A:
Yes, a tracking number will be sent to you upon request.
You may track it at www.purolator.ca. |
| |
| Q:
Are there any hidden charges? |
| A:
At 007 Airsoft, we always list all the charges that will
be incurred. There are no hidden charges. The total
that you'll pay is the subtotal of all items plus shipment
cost. If you choose to pay with Paypal, there will be a 4%
Paypal service charge. |
| |
| Q:
Do you match prices? |
| A:
Yes, all you have to do is mention where you found a

match or even beat Canadian online retailer prices. |
